The Patel Wedding | Brampton | Toronto Indian Wedding Photographer
D&D Patel are the kindest people and were a pleasure to work with. They had their big, fat Gujarati Wedding and Reception at the Galaxy Grand Convention Centre in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. The Indian Wedding Baraat arrived dancing to beats of the dhol as the groom seated in style on the top of a horse back, dressed as a king in his Sherwani and turban. Groom’s parents, siblings, friends, and groomsmen danced in circles in the Baraat to celebrate the beginning of the fun-filled wedding day.
Soon after the bride’s side greeted the received the Baraat, the Gujarati wedding ceremony began. After an hour or so of rituals and Phere, Dhruv & Dixi were pronounced husband and wife by the pandit ji (Hindu Priest).
Doli/Vidhai/ Bidhai/Send-off was an emotional segment of the day, where the bride hugged goodbye to her side of the family, but don’t worry, they all reunited a few hours later at their Reception haha.
Post-wedding photo shoot was done at Chiguacousy Park in Brampton, where the groomsmen and bridesmaids joined the newly married couple!
After a short break, mainly to get Reception-ready, the couple arrived back at the venue for their same-day Reception! Followed by the couple’s grand entrance, there were segments of cake cutting, heart-warming speeches by siblings and friends, and the most entertaining performances by the cousins and bridal party. The First- Dance is is one of our favorite moments of the wedding and theirs was just perfect! Once the dance floor opened, it remained packed for the night!
Below are the highlights from their Indian Gujurati Wedding and Reception.
